We can't do much about users taking a purposeful step to use csv, ignore the warning that comes up, then close and they are surprised when formatting is lost. CSV files cannot contain anything other than text/numbers, no formatting is retained (that's the file format, nothing about LibreOffice) The waring that you must have ignored looks like this: "This document may contain formatting or content that cannot be saved in the currently selected file format “Text CSV.
