The subject of the bug was the find and replace of the characters. Searching for one did not replace the other. My workaround was to find and replace all the apostrophes with "z" then replace the "z" with the other apostrophe. It worked very well. I did the same with the quotation mark and it worked also. It should(?) have worked without the intermediary "z". I apologise if this is included in your answer but again I say my technical knowledge is very limited.
