@Jay, had a look and you are using the red [X] from the Windows program
non-client area.

Unfortunately that is the Windows method of closing a program that a program
has the least internal control over--and would be most likely to catch
LibreOffice in an unstable state.

In other words, closing that way is asking for trouble.

Not saying it is right, but I'd be willing to bet internally we handle that
messaging different from <Ctrl>+W or <Alt>+F4 or <Ctrl>+Q key entries or menu
selections.
