ok, if it is still doing it after that, could be the fact that it's a newer
XLSX file created in Microsoft Excel, which the open office you are using,
probably can't read those file types. You will need to have them send you a
modified version
For the past couple of days, I have had a problem with Word and Excel-type
documents not opening up from email downloads. It seems to be hung up at the
logo.
Admittedly I downloaded this newer version of LibreOffice. Perhaps it's
not compatible with Windows 7?
Not an urgent thing as I can usually open most those files with Google
Docs but, I like the way they view through LibreOffice.
FYI, I am opening up these docs from Chrome browser
