We do accept samples (clearly) but we almost always request a simple sample (instead of submitting a document that has absurd xml code and takes 100x longer for a developer to figure out what's going on). And you're right - bugs will continue to be closed if there are no samples. We aggressively (and rightfully) enforce that policy. It's not our job to create sample documents for our users. This is how a successful open source project works. We have tens of millions of users and a couple dozen active QA members (who are *volunteers*) - if we were responsible for creating a ton of test documents, our already large UNCONFIRMED list would grow several factors.
