I think it's related to the fact that with currency decimal places are set to two places like this ($5.00) and the decimal will be rounded, so 5.008 become 5.01 and 5.001 become 5.00. So if you calculate it visually will get a slightly different value than the software does. the software uses the real values and also round the result in summary to 2 decimal numbers. To check that, Right click on a cell >> format cells >> Numbers and increase the number of decimal places. Could you please check if that is the issue? I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'.
