sorry Micheal but this is not correct...
the bug report has always been about the "transient black background when
resizing"... so, it's good news you fixed the "flickering" thing but the "black
bacground" issue still persists

I don't know... we should try to see which solution is better to the user's
eye...
black or jerky.
