            Bug ID: 99159
Summary: FORMATTING: Make all 'contents' styles 0 indent,
                    adjust Index/ToC tab settings
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

This is an enhancement request to make it easier to edit the lay-out of indexes
and ToC's.

Currently, all 'contents x' styles have increasing before text indent. This
interferes with editing the lay-out of a ToC via the "Insert Index or Table of
contents" window, because a user has to take into account the indent of the
text style when adjusting tab distances.

For me, this has been very confusing, because I thought it was not possible to
have a smaller space before the number.

Adjusting the lay-out of a ToC is very confusing anyway, so any little bit of
improvement would help.
