In LibreOffice 3.5.2, for a docx file on both Mac OSX 10.6 and Ubuntu 12.04,
save to pdf has missing table borders
The docx file example is attachment 60429
Attachment 60431 shows a pdf of how the docx file looked in Word 2007
Attachment 60434 and attachment 60435 are screenshots of how the import
document looked in Mac OSX. The table borders can be seen.
Attachment 60437 shows a pdf of how the docx file looked after export from
LibreOffice.
An experiment with the equivalent doc file, attachment 60428, did correctly
display the table borders when imported and they were also present when saved
as a pdf file. See attachment 60436.
