Bug ID: 99458
Summary: Interactive crop handles are covered by header
drop-down button
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 5.0.6.1 rc
Hardware: All
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Created attachment 124575
--> https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/attachment.cgi?id=124575&action=edit
image before (left) and after (right) clicking the top crop handle
1. Open a new text document.
2. Insert an image into the document.
3. Place the image to the top right corner of text page (Format - Image -
Properties, Position Right/Top to Page text area).
4. Enable header for the page (Format - Page - Header - Header on).
5. Right click the image and choose Crop Image. Red handles appear at the
corners and edges of the image. (See the left part of the attached image.)
6. Click the handle at the top edge.
7. The header drop-down button pops up and the image cannot be cropped. (See
the right part of the attached image.)
Sometimes the handle can be pulled even if the header button is shown.
Another workaround: move the image, crop it and move it back.
Present since 5.0 where the interactive crop was introduced, tested in 5.0.6
and 5.1.1 at Ubuntu 15.10.
