            Bug ID: 99487
Summary: FILESAVE: Currency number format lost when saving in
MS Word formats (DOC and DOCX)
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

I'm creating an invoice document for a friend and when I save the document in
either MS Word 2003 (DOC) or MS Word 2007/2010 (DOCX) format, the currency
number formatting in some cells is lost. As a result, when I load the document
in MS Word and enter a dollar amount as an integer, the number isn't
automatically formatted into a dollar amount.

Expected result: numbers entered in cells with Currency formatting should be
automatically formatted in the proper currency format in MS Word.

Actual result: numbers entered in cells with Currency formatting are not
automatically formatted in the proper currency format in MS Word.

Note: If I save the document in DOC or DOCX format with a number in a cell
with Currency formatting, the number is preserved in MS Word, formatted in the
proper currency format. However, if I enter another number in another cell
with Currency formatting, the new number is _not_ formatted properly.

Everything works as desired in LibreOffice writer. I'll attach sample test
files for troubleshooting purposes. Both LibreOffice Writer and MS Word 2007
are running on the same Windows XP SP3 system.

Thanks!
