Yes, they should immediately display properly (or maybe after reboot?). I have to try the filters myself tomorrow at work on Windows. A codec pack one sees mentioned often is K-lite, but it appears to simply bundle the LAV Filters these days: http://www.codecguide.com/download_k-lite_codec_pack_basic.htm Seems pointless to try that then..
