Typically UBUNTU installs LO without BASE.
if you execute a database file (.odb) directly, by clicking on it, under these
conditions you see a small error window which displays the very unhelpful
message:
General Error.
General input/output error
Tested on a RaspberryPI3 running UBUNTU-Mate 16.04 with LO 5.1.2.2
Suspect, tho' not tested, that this will be true for all LO installs that do
not include BASE.
