I can confirm this bug using LO 5.0.6.3 under Windows 7 (x64). I have verfied
the problem using the test document attached to this issue.
I have the same problem using my global documents when they become too complex
(more than ~100 pages). It has nothing to do with the content of the document,
but with the complexity: If I split-up the global document in several smaller
portions, it will always work. Additionally, the "freeze" appears the earlier
the larger the document is.
My current workaround is to use (forgive me) Apache OpenOffice for the pdf
export of large global documents. Until now this always worked, even for the
test document attached to this issue.
