I just want to add my support for this as big - unexpected behaviour.
I have it on windows in 5.1.3.2
In this version the behaviour occurs irrespective of positioning the curson in
a table or outside a table.
Expected behaviour would be for the current view to remain unchanged when the
file is saved or autosaved. If the user has scrolled away from the cursor
position, the view SHOULD NOT jump back to the cursor position as it is very
distracting.
