Nothing changed. Still a useful idea for enhancement.

I can't. This really depends on someone with developing skills able and willing
to spend time on this.
In general: anything that people contribute constructively to the work on
LibreOffice, makes it more likely to happen, since positive work tends to
amplify each other.
@jani: what do you think, could this be a candidate for an easy hack?
