             Bug #: 50452
Summary: Changing font color in a text box is unintuitive and
                    difficult.
    Classification: Unclassified
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: LibO 3.5.3 release
          Platform: x86-64 (AMD64)
        OS/Version: Linux (All)
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: UI
        AssignedTo: [email protected]
        ReportedBy: [email protected]

When trying to get white text in a black rectangle, I noticed a distinct lack
of a font color button in the toolbar. After much frustration, I consulted the
manual to find that to change the color of a font, I have to go to Format >
Character (?) > Font Effects (?!) to change the font color. This is in stark
contrast to changing font color outside of a textbox, which is mostly a
one-button affair on the formatting toolbar.

Solution: Put a font color and font highlighting button next to the font size
field in the Text Object toolbar, as per the font color and font highlighting
buttons in the formatting toolbar.
