I saw similar equation bug and it should be fixed.
I can reproduce memory leak/high CPU issue at ubuntu in Version:
5.3.0.0.alpha0+

CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Linux 4.4; UI Render: default;

repro with ubutu version 5.1.2
Please could you test with dev version?
