I'm going to close this report.
It is known that LibreOffice requires a Java version that corresponds in bit
type, so 32bit Java for 32bit LibreOffice(x86) and 64bit Java for 64bit
LibreOffice(x64). This is not a bug.
The requests for a 1.6 JRE were only seen on MacOSX. On MacOSX, it is also
known that for older versions of LO (i.e. the 4.x, and 3.x series) you required
JavaforOSX from Apple, and additionally you could install Oracle JRE.
>From version 5.x on OSX, you also need to install a complete JDK as the JRE is
no longer recognized.
