Improvements to the navigator are really necessary. Some are collected in
tdf#99648 regarding layer handling. The navigator's functionality today is
limited to browse up/down through pages. When we add functions to access layers
and objects there it would be a big step ahead. Those functions could comprise
of alignment, grouping, enabling, multiple edit, access to objects per clear
name, moving things around etc. Much more than having a context menu with
delete.
Because you can multiselect pages and delete at the pages sidebar I'm closing
this ticket as WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen in case of dissents.
