@Heiko: I have the selection checkbox enabled an unchecked on both platforms
whether something is selected or not.
I would say that it shouldnt automatically check the selection checkbox,
whether one or more objects are selected, because it would negatively impact a
user who had something selected and wanted to export the entire document.
The better option would be for the dialog to remember that a user has
checked/unchecked the checkbox previously and remember that for further usage
of the dialog and the selection checkbox should be disabled if nothing is
selected before opening the dialog.
There are other bug reports also requesting that these open/save dialogs
remember other settings (e.g. bug 98728).
