I am annoyed by the fact that when the writer program froze after 3 hours of my
editing a document. I assumed that the continual automatic save feature would
ensure that the recovery program would take it at least back to the last
automatic save. it didn't and I lost everything back to prior to the 3 hours of
editing. Why doesn't the writer program save properly?

i realise that this may be a memory issue with my low RAM notebook but when you
see the continual auto saves taking place you at least assume that it will
recover your work. I will have to remember to 'save as I go' in future like you
used to have to do 10years ago - because I cannot trust the recovery feature in
Libreoffice writer apparently.
