Using a fresh profile did solve the problem.
I actually just renamed <home>/.config/libreoffice to libreoffice-old
I restarted the OS to be sure...
Starting LibreOffice then recreated a fresh profile, and Base is now working
properly.
The problem was not linked to any particular version of LibreOffice nor to any
unsolved dependency
In the meantime, I had tried to reinstall version 4.2.8, original Ubuntu 12.04,
in parallel to my present 5.1.3.2 version, and it had the same problem.
