Ok, so I tested with the attached file. I enabled macros, and then made one
letter change in a text cell and saved back to xls. Saving took about 1min 30s,
certainly not 3 minutes. Given the relative complexity of the XLS file, not
confirming.

This was tested on a Mac mini (mid-2010), so quite an old machine.
I'll compare the same file with older versions of LO.
