            Bug ID: 100577
Summary: outline numbering subheadings do not automatically
                    have the correct number
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.1.2.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium

sample file for outline numbering

I have three levels of heading set, using the outline numbering. Level 1 is
"Heading 1", level 2 is 'Heading 2", level 3 is "Heading 3".

If I type the text for a subheading (say level 2 heading) then set the style
for tha paragraph to "Heading 2" it does not have the correct heading number
until I right click on the heading and select "Continue previous numbering".

FUrthermore, if there is a bulleted list between the previous Level 2 heading
and the new heading, selecting "Continue previous numbering" causes the level 2
heading to be bulleted, not numbered.

As far as I can tell this holds for both .docx and .odt files.
I have attached an example file with two lines called "Test Case" which can be
used as example headings in the two situations above.

If a level 2 heading is copied and pasted to the new location the numbering
works as expected.
