Hi, I am sorry that you feel like that, we have made a step-by-step guide to
make it easy to submit a patch:

Because as you say, learning all of Gerrit and LibreOffice is a bit
overwhelming.
Use the step by step guide, then you do not
- need to learn about branches etc
- learn all of gerrit (only 1 command logerrit)
