"Mail merge embedding of the datasource (Miklos Vajna, Collabora)" was added
for 5.1 https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/ReleaseNotes/5.1#Writer.
The idea behind is really fantastic, no need for carry the odb file and have it
registered.
I think it would be great for others purposes in writer and other LibreOffice
apps, in particular I have in mind calc, for the sames reasons than Mail Merge.
In a calc file having sql queries on itself with only one file, as example.
