When I try to select 'External SD', I get a momentary warning about an 'Invalid
root file' and the directory display doesn't change. I don't believe this Nexus
tablet can accept an external SD card, so that might be the expected/desired
behavior (at least for my hardware).
Have you confirmed that other apps can access files stored on your external SD
card?
