Summary: EDITING: NULL values not pasting properly from
external applications
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.4.4 release
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Spreadsheet
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Problem description:
If I copy and paste from an external application (Toad in my case) into a
worksheet that previously had data, cells that are NULL are not pasted
properly. The cells previous values remain instead of being NULL.
The worksheet was originally a Microsoft Excel document.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Copy data from external application.
2. Select a cell in a worksheet. The worksheet already contains data.
3. Paste data (Ctrl-v)
4. Text import Wizard comes up. I confirm that NULL values are present.
-Character Set Unicode
-Language English(USA)
-From row 1
-Separated by Tab
5. Select OK.
6. Confirm that cells that should be NULL contain previous values.
Platform (if different from the browser):
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101
