Not without merit, but some of @kompilainenn's work on bug 96383 is better
reasoned.
MRU list remains defaulted to 25 but can be adjusted in Expert Configuration,
and thumbnail views can be disabled if preferred.
See comments there regards completing work for bug 75644 and bug 77590 is
needed before providing option of a more concise StartCenter.
