I have confirmed this bug in v5.2.0.4 (released version) on Mac OSX, Linux Mint
17.3, and Windows 10. Almost all of the illustrations in the user guides are
anchored "as character", so this is a big nuisance when updating the guides. My
workaround is to change the anchor of the frame to one of the other choices
("to character" or "to paragraph"), edit the caption, and then change the
anchor back to "as character".
