This has long been fixed. Firstly, macOS 10.11 stable has been released almost
a year ago.
There used to be a recovery bug in LO which has been fixed a long while ago as
well.
If this continues for you using macOS 10.11.6 and LO 5.2.x or newer, please
re-open this bug.
For any bugs related to macOS 10.12 Sierra betas, please file new bugs.
