Trivial to do without IME or use of special character dialog--simply type
"u+202f" and position cursor at end of string. Then <alt>+x to toggle the
codepoint for the current font. Another <alt>+x will toggle back the to string.

AltGr (right <Alt> key) in some locales does not perform the toggle--use the
left alt.
