No repro for me with
Version: 5.2.0.4
Build ID: 066b007f5ebcc236395c7d282ba488bca6720265
CPU Threads: 2; OS Version: Mac OS X 10.11.6; UI Render: default;
Locale: en-GB (fr.UTF-8)
If I select some text from a web page that has bold/italic formatting, and then
drag and drop paste that into the Cmd-F window, the text is selected into the
search field.
Please try with an updated version of LibreOffice (5.2.0) and report back. If
what I've described is not what you are doing, please be more specific.
