I originally posted a question regarding crash on save here:

It has been over six months and a few upgrades later (now at 5.0.5.2), I am
still having the problem constantly.
Several times a week, I try to save random documents (with no particular size
or content), Calc crashes and I loose all my changes.
I am running it on Windows 8.1 on a standard hard disk (not network drive).
