--- Comment #4 from David <[email protected]> ---
I don't understand there not being enough data on the subject. I submitted a
document as requested. The document is set to Portuguese from Brazil. If you
change any paragraph's text type, to say HEADING1, the paragraph will change to
the default language, and will not be Portuguese anymore. This means that all
spell checking for the paragraph goes out of whack ... instantly. A real pain.

The point is, a paragraph should stay in the language it was set to. So this
is a BUG. It should not revert to the LibreOffice default language.

If I have a paragraph in French, but my LibreOffiice default language is
English, and then I change the paragraph to become a title, why should it
revert from FRENCH to ENGLISH? It should stay as FRENCH. Simple right?

The sample document shows this behavior clearly. The language that the
paragraph is set to is seen in the status bar ... and it is set to Portuguese
(Brazil). Why does it change to ENGLISH when changing the format of the
paragraph? Is there something I'm missing?

I'm an avid uses of OpenOffice / LibreOffice, since version 2 of OO. So if i'm
missing something, most people are.

No extra data is needed. It would be good to see this bug fixed ... please.
