I could reproduce a crash by playing around with spacing similarly as described
in comment 10, just several more random times. Got the crash after closing
Writer. I used LibreOffice 5.2.1.2 / Windows 7. No crash report.
Not confirming without exact steps, yet.
I also wonder why the Footer distance looks weird after setting it on one page,
it's as if it wasn't updating everywhere...
