Oh - this makes good sense; unfortunately IIRC the ownCloud integration is done
with a client side library that is (presumably) ownCloud / Nextcloud specific -
so ... what to call it - I have no idea.
Remote server sounds sensible to me - though I guess we support just these two.
Patches welcome etc. =)
