I have the same issue: just updated to the public Macos Sierra and LibreOffice
hangs on opening documents. Versions tested:
5.2.5
and
5.30 (23 Sept DEV version)
Terminal output:
$ /Applications/LibreOfficeDev.app/Contents/MacOS/soffice
[very long output; and upon opening the About screen - freeze:]
