            Bug ID: 102836
Summary: Please add "Make default" option for "Page Setting" to
                    make user setting default
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 5.2.2.2 rc
          Hardware: All
                OS: All
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: normal
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Hi.

Recently (2 months ago), I shifted almost from Windows OS to Linux Fedora. For
that I'm depending now on LibreOffice for much greater extent.

Now, I'm suffering from very annoying issue: I prefer to use page setting:

empty margins at periphery of page as following:
- left: 3 cm
- right 3 cm
- up 2.3 cm
- down 2.3 cm

By default, LibreOffice use different setting which is 2 cm for all. This is
not problem by itself, but problem is that LibreOffice has no option to make
user custom setting a default setting !! In this case I have to set my values
every time I created a new document !! This is very annoying !! In microsoft
office there is option in "page setting" called "Make Default" when clicked it
will make user custom setting the default setting for all newly created
documents.

Please, please add this option to LibreOffice not only in writer but in any
other components where it is appropriate to add it, like impress.

Best.
