Thank you both for testing.
It seems that it's not country related, though this is not the same root cause
of the original bug report, the error causing it is now entirely different.
I preferred opening bug 102499 as anchor point for the commits needed to
support the unofficial HTTP response status codes.
Some of the changes needed for the near full implementation of bug 102499 will
solve this bug too.
