Bug #: 51173
Summary: FORMATTING: Tab stops in Table are incorrect
Classification: Unclassified
Product: LibreOffice
Version: LibO 3.5.4 release
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Status Whiteboard: BSA
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Writer
AssignedTo: [email protected]
ReportedBy: [email protected]
Problem description:
In a table cell the tab doesn't line up with the tabstop in the ruler.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a table with two cells
2. In the right most cell put a tab character
3. In the right most cell add a tab stop and some text
Current behavior:
Tab stop is applied at (say) 10cm.
Text wraps off the end of the cell and onto the next line.
This is because the tabstop distance starts at the start of the cell.
As a workaround, manually setting a tabstop at 2cm gets the desired behaviour.
Expected behavior:
The text should line up with the tabstop marker
Platform (if different from the browser):
Browser: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:12.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/12.0
Iceweasel/12.0
Debian LibreOffice 3.5.4.2 Build ID: 350m1(Build:2)
