I think you have misunderstood.
I followed your instructions and went to application support folder under my
username. From there I deleted the folder LibreOffice and emptied the
wastebasket. Is there somewhere else that LibreOffice stores information. I
will gladly try removing that too. Please note I also removed the application
as well as removing the user profile folders.
