Confusing, how do you know which instance of soffice.exe/soffice.bin is being
called? Is the QuickLaunch for either activated? If so they will not get
along.
With QuickLaunch disabled and file associations cleared things should co-exist
as LibreOffice has its own stanzas in Windows registry for both HKCU and
HKLM/Software
It also has its own folders in the AppData
(C:/Users/<username>/AppData/Roaming/LibreOffice
So, you could temporarily rename the OpenOffice profile and allow the
LibreOffice profile to fully assert, but the smart money says to avoid mixing
installations and install one or the other "in parallel" performing a MSIEXEC
/a administrative installation.
