Ok, a simpler scenario.
F3 is the source field, in sentence case.
G3=F3. It shows in sentence case as expected.
H3=G3. It is upper case. Why?
I3=G3. It is upper case
J3=H3. It is upper case.
I have now found how to replicate this, easier to show it in this video:
