Steps how to reproduce with "LibreOffice 3.5.5.1 German UI/Locale [Build-ID:
c9944f7-48b7ff5-0507789-54a4c8a-8b242a8] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)
1. From Bug 43892 (showing similar symptoms) open obsoleted attachment 63313
2. Try to click into Frames with text contents "Can't Edit Me!"
Expected: Caret appears at clicked place between characters
Actual: Nothing
Already reproducible with "LibreOffice 3.5.1.2 German UI/Locale [Build-ID:
dc9775d-05ecbee-0851ad3-1586698-727bf66] on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit),
it seems the problem appeared with 3.5
Still [Reproducible] with parallel installation of Master "LOdev "
3.7.0.0.alpha0+ - WIN7 Home Premium (64bit) ENGLISH UI [Build ID: 8d39b7]"

With what Operating System did you test?
Can you tell us some more concerning history of that document? Are you able to
create such a document from the scratch (may be with an old OOo version)?
