On pc Debian x86-64 with master sources updated yesterday
(b927c1f4b334f80d2c2965e5b7327d6b6a685105), I don't reproduce this.
(rendering=gtk3, gtk, kde4 or gen)
I think it might be already fixed with these patches:

Any chance to retry with a build containing these?
If you reproduce the crash, would it be possible you retrieve a backtrace?
