I checked and the 2 major desktop publishing packages, QuarkXPress[1] and
PageMaker[2], use 'link' for continuous text between textboxes and hyperlink
for URLs. Trying to invent our own terminology when there already is a
well-defined standard seems like we're making things more confusing for our
users.
