Having the Ken-Burns-Effect available in LO Impress would allow it to make high
quality photo presentations. Usually people use a mixture between slides the
manually forward and talk about and slides that are played automatically with
music in the background. To make the automatic ones more interesting the
Ken-Burns-Effet is used often times.

I pepared a simpel mock-up to show how I could imagine a simple and fast
interface and workflow.

Workflow:
—>choose Ken-Burns-Effect from animations
—>two boxes will appear for 1st and 2nd position that can be dragged around and
resized.
—> set transition time between different positions (if there is a set time for
each slide it could be considered having the adjusment in percentage of the
whole slide time)
—> done
(no clear idea for adding additional positions (maybe if you right click on the
animation or something slike that)
