Couple Sample Equations Showing Plus Sign and Some Missalignment
TL:DR - Plus sign takes away focus from equation, Sum function not aligned,
need new un-italicizing function to save time.
--------------------------------
Vectors and some over variables are often written non-italics. Even though I
can change the font and whether all the variables have italics or not (pg 285,
user manual), it would be nice to have a command like "utal" to un-italic
variables. It's quite tedious to jump back and forth between needing many
italic variables and a few between equtions. If I need to write a paper with
many (e.g.) vector equations but also equally many non-vector equations, a lot
of time is used up bouncing back and forth between menus or italicizing most of
the variables.
--------------------------------
Regarding the plus sign, notice how it clashes with the bold i and bold j. It
takes away from the looks of the equation. It makes it look ... heavy. It's not
font dependent. I tried a few fonts like the default Liberation Serif and also
Times New Roman.
--------------------------------
I threw in a sum equation because I noticed the function is not aligned with
the center of the Capital Sigma (like on pg 282, user manual).
--------------------------------
Side Comments:
1. hat j is not aligned in italics as well as hat i (little off) and hat k
(perfect).
2. It would be nice for a command for aligning equations, like addressed on pg
284 where a matrix is used instead. I do a lot of rearranging so I could really
use that functionality.
3. Thank you! :D
